Learn how to upload documents to your Document Transcribe collections for transcription and translation.
Supported File Formats
Document Transcribe currently supports the following file formats:
- JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
- PNG (.png)
We're working on adding support for additional formats, including PDF documents.
Step 1: Navigate to Your Collection
First, select the collection where you want to upload your documents. If you haven't created a collection yet, check out our guide on Creating Your First Collection.
Step 2: Upload Documents
There are several ways to upload documents:
- Upload button: Click the "Upload" button in the collection interface. This will open a file browser where you can select one or multiple documents from your computer.
- Drag and drop: Simply drag files from your computer and drop them onto the designated area in the collection interface.
Step 3: Monitor Upload Progress
A progress indicator will show you the status of your uploads. Depending on your internet connection and the size of your files, uploads may take a few moments to complete.
Step 4: Verify Uploaded Documents
Once uploaded, your documents will appear in your collection. You can:
- Preview each document to ensure it was uploaded correctly
- Rename documents if needed
- Organize documents into pages
- Add metadata or tags to your documents
Tips for Best Results
